Vanessa Atterbeary, Candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in District 18, Opposes Proposed Legislation That Mirrors Arizona Immigration Law

Delegate Pat McDonough (R-Baltimore County) has announced that he will be introducing new legislation at next year’s legislative session that will mirror the recently implemented Arizona immigration law. Vanessa Atterbeary, Candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in District 18, plans to block this legislation and any similar legislation that promotes discriminatory practices and racial profiling, and calls on all delegates to similarly pledge themselves to preventing Mr. McDonough’s wanton disregard for the rights of citizens and non-citizens alike.
